We are delighted to announce we have once again been awarded the Safe Contractor Accreditation which demonstrates we remain compliant with the standards that matter most as a reputable contractor - from health and safety and sustainability, to our ethical behaviour.
As one of the UK’s leading Health & Safety accreditations, Safe Contractor, looks at the following aspects:
By achieving the Safe Contractor Accreditation, it recognises Health & Safety Management standards amongst contractors, suppliers and within the construction industry. In addition, it highlights our commitment to continuously improving the stringent Health & Safety standards in the business and reducing risk throughout the supply chain.
We work with external Health & Safety consultants, Moorepay, to ensure that we remain compliant in Health & Safety matters and keep up to date with any changes in legislation. In addition, they support us with Health & Safety related policies and procedures and risk assessments.
CPL t/a Rainbow Restoration is also delighted to have, for the first time, achieved the Gold Sustainability Certification to run alongside the Safe Contractor Accreditation, showing our commitment to sustainability and ethical practices for our customers. By achieving these certifications, we automatically meet PAS 91 and SSIP standards required by the Construction Industry.
Gemma Archibald, Divisional CEO of Alcumus SafeContractor said:
“Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place. More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that CPL t/a Rainbow Restoration has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector. SafeContractor plays a vital role in supporting our clients in meeting their compliance needs, whilst working with their contractors as they progress through the accreditation process.”
Also commenting on the company’s latest achievement, Wilf Charles, Managing Director said:
“Obtaining the Safe Contractor Accreditation once again demonstrates our business continues to be safe and stable and reflects our mission to operate at the highest standards possible, giving our customers peace of mind. We’re also committed to sustainable and ethical practices wherever possible and the Gold Sustainability Verification endorses our dedication to reducing our environmental impact. We are keen to maintain and build on our success moving forward.”
