Black mould exists in many homes and offices without you even being aware of it. It exists under floor boards and in wall voids. Visible black mould can exit in on walls, window sills, ceilings. Signs of block mould can include a musty type smell which can be prevalent in damp conditions.
Wet mould will typically have a fungal and glossy black appearance. When it dries black mould will have a powdery consistency, and is it this that can cause major issues. The spores can then easily float almost invisible to other parts of the building and into peoples lungs.
