DOFF uses a steam-based system which uses high temperature steam but not high pressures, to achieve exceptional cleaning results. This system uses low volumes of water, therefore the surface will be dry within minutes, as it has not been saturated as well as providing less water ingression opportunities. As the water and steam are such high temperatures it often means chemicals or cleaning products are not required for removing the graffiti, so this system can be considered environmentally friendly as well as energy efficient.

These durable coatings offer effective protection as they prevent graffiti from properly adhering to the surface – which also reduces the clean-up time for any graffiti in the future.

Type of anti-graffiti coating: Sacrificial

As the name suggests, sacrificial anti-graffiti coatings are not permanent.

Although they are ideal for porous surfaces, they are a temporary solution and will need to be reapplied after the first instance the graffiti is washed off.

Non-sacrificial anti-graffiti coatings despite being typically more expensive, only have to be applied once.

This type of coating leaves a glossy look on surfaces after application. This is better for non-porous surfaces and is a more permanent solution. Non-sacrificial coating is ideal for surfaces near busy areas where graffiti is more likely to occur.
